The first verse, about lying under the bridge unaware of legal affairs, warns that if you turn away from problems and hide, you may face bigger trouble without knowing what's happening outside. Don't postpone things that need examining, like documents, regulations, and promises — check them head-on. The authority falling from the sky in the second verse means your position or standing so far may waver, so rather than quarreling with others or stepping forward, it's better to humbly lower yourself. Like the listless golden catfish even in the rain, there are times when conditions around you look good but your own strength doesn't follow. At such times don't force yourself forward — focus on recovering your energy. The drifting duckweed of the last verse is a heart wavering aimlessly, so it's important to hold on to even one small routine to find your center. At the start of autumn there's a month when the time comes and what you hoped for comes true, so quietly save your strength until then. It's a year you can get through as much as you're careful.
