The year ahead
There are many things that look glossy on the outside but lack substance. Your heart flickers like a lamp in the wind, and it's hard to see ahead, as when thick clouds cover the sun. Put off big decisions and quietly hold your ground, and you'll pass through without trouble.
This is a year when your heart wavers easily because many things look plausible on the outside but are empty inside. The goblins of the first verse point to rumors without substance, empty promises, and false hopes. So the better something sounds, the more you should doubt it once more — that's this year's wisdom. The shattered mirror of the second verse is a warning that cracks easily form between people close to you, so be careful with your words and actions. The third verse means the sun hasn't disappeared — it's only hidden by clouds. Even if you can't see ahead, your light hasn't vanished, so don't lose heart. The last verse is a comfort that one who quietly keeps to the right way alone becomes greatly fortunate over the long years. Postpone big decisions and hold steady quietly, and you'll get through the year without trouble.
