The year ahead
This is a year when you can easily miss chances while you hesitate. If you have faith but virtue doesn't follow, joyful things can turn ill instead. Be careful that a petty heart doesn't lead to a big fault, and keep on learning, and the knots will loosen.
This is a year when opportunities easily slip by while you hesitate. As in the first line, if you can't decide even by midday, interference creeps into even good things. So once you've looked things over enough, you need to practice deciding boldly. The second line means trust alone isn't enough; virtue, that is, consideration and action, must come with it for joy to be protected. The third line warns that fretting over small things can lead to big mistakes. The student of the fourth line hasn't seen results yet, but the fact that they're still learning is the hope. In the seventh, tenth and eleventh lunar months there may be financial losses and family storms, so be careful. In the ninth lunar month welcome things come, like small grass meeting spring. If you let go of the old and follow the new in the twelfth lunar month, the door to next year opens.
