The year ahead
Even in a hard year, your own share of abundance comes to you. Small things change greatly, as bamboo becomes a dragon. Your heart is at ease as in peaceful times, and wealth arrives on its own, letting you expand your land and home.
This is a blessed year when your share of abundance comes even if the world is having a hard time. As in the first verse, the hungry one meets a bountiful harvest amid famine, so the harder things are around you, the more your place shines. The second verse's image of bamboo turning into a dragon is an energy of the ordinary transforming greatly, so talents or work you've long refined blossom into something grand. Like five-colored clouds rising far and wide, name and opportunity follow together. The third verse speaks of a heart at peace, like the age of Yao and Shun, so your heart won't be greatly shaken all year. The fourth verse says money gathers and expands your land and home without your chasing it, so it's a good year to firm up the foundation of your household. Between summer and autumn, though, disputes and bewildering matters are mixed in, so step back just then. As your blessings grow, grow a sharing heart along with them, and the good energy will stay a long time.
