The year ahead
This is a leisurely, unhurried year. People gather, like bees and butterflies seeking the fragrance when the tree outside the gate blooms. You're treated with honor wherever you go, and the scenery of your later years is beautiful, like yellow chrysanthemums blooming right on time.
This is a relaxed year when things find their place without you having to rush. The first line, four old men forgetting their worries over baduk (Korean Go), means that when you set down impatience and play each move calmly, the game actually turns in your favor. Bees and butterflies gathering at the flowers outside the gate means the good energy you carry draws people naturally, so connections and chances come to you without you pulling them in. The line about being honored wherever you roam means you'll be well received in outside activities, travel and new positions. The last line, the yellow chrysanthemum blooming in its season, is a promise that the fruits of your work will ripen even more beautifully in the latter part of the year.
