The original verse and its meaning

1. 花爛春城 萬化方暢
   Flowers bloom in profusion in the spring city, and the harmony of all things is just beginning to blossom.
2. 魚躍龍門 攀龍附鳳
   The fish leaps over the Dragon Gate, then rises holding on to the dragon and leaning on the phoenix.
3. 指南天地 必有妙方
   Seeking the way by pointing south between heaven and earth, there may be a wondrous means.
4. 三江五川 見友顧恤
   Crossing three rivers and five streams, you meet a friend, and you look after and cherish each other.
